We recognise that there are such a variety of body shapes and sizes, and believe differences should be appreciated, or at least accepted. A person’s opinion about themselves is much more important than anyone else’s, so our aim is to nurture those positive attributes and work on the ones that are challenging. Our workshops are designed to help boost your self esteem and improve your confidence about your body image.
Our fitness classes workouts are dance based classes for those who want to stay or get fit and boost their well being. The classes are a moderate impact level and have ‘feel good’ music that keeps the participants moods high, and it’s packed with fun! The classes includes strengthening, toning, and stretching exercises, and dance moves that keep you fit.
We cover a range of topics to bring awareness about the body’s capacity for shifting the mind, which then generates better feelings and increase a person’s well being. We offer practical ways to stimulate the mind that are based on research and anecdotal resources. As part of the session, we invite the listeners to engage in movement that they can do in their seats or by standing up.
The presentations includes a one hour talk and a two hour movement based workshop. The talk and movement workshop can be offered separately or as a package. We discuss what body shaming is and what to do if a person has been affected by it. Our aim is to share knowledge that promotes physical and emotional well being, increases self awareness, confidence, and the ability to work with others.
